HAMILTON, Mass. — Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike Minogue today released the following statement as delegates prepare to select the Republican lieutenant governor nominee:
“I’m running to be a new kind of governor. As I’ve traveled across Massachusetts, I’ve seen what it takes to earn support the right way. You show up, you listen, and you make your case directly to the people who care most about the future of this Commonwealth.
“I’ve seen Anne Brensley doing exactly that over the last seven months. She’s been out there putting in the work, meeting with delegates, and standing up for auditing the legislature, protecting parental rights, making Massachusetts more affordable, pushing back on the political establishment, and opposing policies like the MBTA Communities Act that are harmful for our communities.
“She’s earned the respect of the delegates she’s spoken with, and as a result, she’s earned my vote and support for lieutenant governor at the Massachusetts Republican Party state convention.”
