HAMILTON, Mass. — Today, MassGOP and RNC-endorsed candidate for governor, Mike Minogue, announced the launch of a new statewide television and digital advertising campaign centered on a message resonating with families across the Commonwealth: Massachusetts works for some, but not all.
Set against the backdrop of a state where the political elite design and execute favorable deals within their own circle, the ad highlights the growing burden of everyday hard-working families in Massachusetts.
“Massachusetts is working for some, but not all,“ said Mike Minogue. “The political elite are doing fine, but families struggle to pay their energy bills, healthcare, childcare, and their jobs are leaving.”
The campaign says the message reflects conversations Minogue has had in communities across the Commonwealth, where rising costs are skyrocketing, squeezing household budgets. At the same time, the one-party system in Massachusetts is over-spending, over-taxing, and over-regulating, forcing businesses elsewhere.
“People know something isn’t working,” said Mike Minogue. “Families are doing everything right, yet they’re falling further behind. The cost of living keeps rising, opportunities are leaving the state, and too many elected leaders seem disconnected from those realities. Massachusetts deserves leadership focused on making this state affordable, competitive, and full of opportunity again.”
Minogue is a business leader, combat veteran, and community servant who has spent his career solving problems and leading organizations through difficult challenges. The experience offers a different perspective from career politicians and positions him to tackle the Commonwealth’s challenges. Minogue says, as governor, his focus will be trained on accountability, affordability, opportunity, and keeping communities safe.
At the heart of the ad is Minogue’s vision for creating a Massachusetts which is once again the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
“[It’s] time for something different,” Minogue confirms in the closing moments of the ad.

“Massachusetts is working for some, but not for all. The political elite are doing fine, but workers and families struggle to pay their energy bills, to pay healthcare, to pay childcare, and the jobs are leaving.
So the things I’ll do as a governor is I’ll bring my expertise from a business perspective, from a combat veteran perspective, and also for someone who donates time and energy and money into the community.
Time for something different. Mike Minogue, a New Kind of Governor.”
