HAMILTON, Mass. — Mike Minogue, the MassGOP and Republican National Committee-endorsed candidate for governor, has accepted an invitation to participate in a live, statewide general election debate hosted by Boston 25, GBH, and New England Public Media in partnership with El Planeta and The Bay State Banner.
“The Commonwealth is at a crossroads. The one-party system has failed too many Massachusetts families,” said Mike Minogue. “Voters have a clear choice: continue down the same path or embrace a new direction rooted in common sense, accountability, and solutions that put citizens first. They deserve the opportunity to hear our competing visions side by side, and I look forward to debating Governor Maura Healey.”
The one-hour debate will be moderated by Boston 25 anchor Kerry Kavanaugh and GBH political reporter Adam Reilly. It is expected to take place after Labor Day, with the final date to be announced once confirmed by the candidates and the participating media organizations.
The debate will air live on Boston 25 television, GBH television, and GBH Radio. It will also be livestreamed on the Boston 25 and GBH websites, streaming platforms, and YouTube channels. El Planeta and The Bay State Banner will stream the event as well, with El Planeta providing a Spanish-language translation to expand access for voters across the Commonwealth. Other media outlets will also be invited to cover the debate.
Additional details regarding the date, time, and format of the debate will be announced by the host organizations once finalized.
